Adele rolling in dough after landing 100m payout for Oprah Winfrey interview

She’s a worldwide money-spinning superstar and now Adele’s pals are going to be rolling in the dough too.

The singer’s interview with Oprah Winfrey and a special performance will air on US channel CBS on Sunday night.

And I can reveal the show â€" made by James Corden’s company Fulwell 73 â€" has done a revenue share deal to be syndicated around the world.

Insiders claim it could generate more than $100million, with Corden’s firm expected to receive a hefty slice of that.

A source says: “The fees for syndication could be over $100million total.

“For Adele, it’s a simply fantastic piece of business â€" you promote your new record and take home a nice little earner on top.

“Technically, she may say the interview is free, but her song performances in the show are performance payments. TV networks across the world are shelling out significant sums for their regions and it will mean millions coming into the coffers.”

One insider says CBS has paid “at least $5million, but perhaps as much as $7million” to debut Adele: One Night Only â€" a two-hour special that will feature the performer’s first new material in six years.

The show, which is due to air five days before the release of her fourth album, 30, will include several of Adele’s and some never-before heard songs.

Corden’s company â€" which he owns with five other people â€" also produced ITV ’s An ­Audience With Adele, which was filmed last week and will be screened on November 21.

For the US special, Adele spoke to Winfrey at her Montecito home â€" the same venue where the chat show host quizzed Harry and Meghan in March.

That became TV’s biggest money-spinner, as broadcasters cashed in on guaranteed television ratings gold.

The interview was the subject of furious bidding wars between broadcasters totalling tens of millions of dollars â€" and was syndicated to 70 countries.
